Getting Legal

I’m sure many of your remember us speaking about our need to get our FM3
Ministro de Culto visa. It is a special Mexican Visa that permits foreigners religious freedom in Mexico. It’s good for a year and the law allows you to renew it every year. We have a tourist visa at the moment that allows us to be in the country for a maximum of six months (180 days). That why we went to the border to be granted another six months visa. The visa is intended for tourist not those who wish to reside in Mexico for years like us. We could probably get away with it and live in Autlán without out FM3s for years. However we had to ask ourselves if we obey the law because it is enforced or because it is the law. We now have six months to raise $1,900 and get all our papers in order. We had originally planned to go with a lawyer for $1,300 but later found out she was extremely inexperienced in the matter and now plan to go with Tecate Mission’s lawyer. We believe the Lord will provide this $1900 in the next six months for our FM3. Please pray with us as wait for the provision. We will keep you posted as we raise the money.
